Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], October 12 (ANI): Reacting to the two rallies of Shiv Sena Dussehra in the city on Saturday, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Arvind Sawant took a jibe at Shiv Sena-led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and said that few new ‘mushrooms’ have grown now and they have neither ideas nor conduct.
Arvind Sawant said, “I don’t want to get into others. When Balasaheb Thackeray formed Shiv Sena, this event has continued for the last 55-56 years. He used to say that this rally is not for extending greetings, this is an event to show a direction to the country, give it an idea…This has continued to do this day. Few new ‘mushrooms’ have grown now. Why do we have to pay attention to them? They have neither ideas nor conduct.”
“You have started spreading enmity. That is not our ideology. The manner in which Uddhav Thackeray is showing a path to this country now, he doesn’t think of only politics – there is ‘rashtra neeti’ first and then ‘rajneeti’,” he further added.
Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) chief Uddhav Thackeray attended the party’s Dussehra rally.

Shiv Sena (UBT) faction led by Uddhav Thackeray and Shiv Sena-led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde held separate Dussehra rallies in the state on Saturday, aiming to show their strength just before the assembly polls in the state.
The Shiv Sena (UBT) rally was held at Shivaji Park while the Ekanth Shinde faction’s rally at Azad Maidan.
Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut said, “It has been a tradition for more than 50 years – only 2 Dussehra rallies are famous – Shiv Sena’s Dussehra rally which was started by Balasaheb Thackery and the other one is of RSS’ Dussehra rally in Nagpur. Now, the duplicate Shiv Sena in Maharashtra, the Sena of Modi and Shah is also organising the Dussehra rally in the name of Shiv Sena, many other organisations also do rallies but the importance of the rally that is organised in Shivaji Park has always been more in the country and state.” (ANI)
